After much searching, I decided to hire The Logo Company for a site redesign I was doing. They haven’t won any major awards or notable recognitions for their work, although the samples I did see on their portfolio were pretty good. Two things, however, really prompted me to try them out:
1. They offered unlimited revisions until you were perfectly satisfied. My friend, who had his shirt business logo designed by these guys, vouched for it.
2. Their prices are pretty low compared to many similar services that exhibited comparable quality in samples.
The initial concepts they delivered weren’t very impressive although the turnaround was faster than I ever thought these types of services went for. I spent some time interacting with the representative from The Logo Company who patiently listened to my ideas. I knew she listened too, because the next version they sent was pretty good. It took several updates (which were free) before we settled on the finished product, with which I was overall happy.
Don’t expect designs that will rock your world, though. While good, the final logo I had lacked a certain polish, which I’ve seen from some really outstanding work. Still, between the price they charge, the excellent communication and the unlimited revisions they offered, there’s really little to complain about.
One last note: As it turns out, The Logo Company sells their designs for cheap as a way to bring new customers into their main business, which is full-service printing. Expect to receive a pitch or two. Don’t worry, they’re not irritating at all.

My experience with The Logo Company was great overall. I wouldn’t call them amazing, like some of the reviews I’ve seen when I first researched them, but they were a great value for the money.
I got 5 concepts during the initial phase of the order, all of which were pretty decent. While going over them, I noticed two of the designs included elements that were lifted from similar logos I’ve seen in my industry. I’m not sure if it’s because the artists used stock graphics or they borrowed on those for inspiration, but I found it very unprofessional. The rest, though, seemed fairly original so the two offending designs didn’t bother me all that much.
The remainder of my experience with The Logo Company was fun and easy. I wouldn’t call the final design great, but it does suffice. Come two or three years, when my business is bigger, I’ll probably commission something more expensive that builds upon the current logo I got from them.
I have worked with many companies in my line of work and I’d say The Logo Company performs pretty fairly on the service end. In fact, that’s about my whole assessment of them. The service and the resulting products are neither spectacular nor grand, but does reflect the value of the price they charge for. You do get what you pay for and, at the end of the day, that’s all I’m really looking forward to.
