Overall Logo Design Gurus seem to offer a reasonably good service. Their only setback though is their refund policy which makes getting any form of refund extremely difficult.

I never used to care much about logos. My business ran fine for a good decade without commissioning an expensive one, so I never paid much credence to people’s claims about how logos define your business and such.
My nephew, however, who joined me in the business a year ago had different ideas. Since he’s a marketing guy, I let him have his way with the promotional aspects, which included finally getting us a professional logo.
I’m a hard guy to please but I do believe Logo Design Guru brought something pretty good to the table. Joey, my nephew, showed me the initial concepts when he was deciding on them. They seemed very creative and actually made me think twice about how wise of a decision it was to ignore getting a professional emblem for my marketing materials for so long.
On the price side of things, I found $400 (or something like that) a little expensive. Not that I’d have anything to compare with, but I was expecting much less. I can imagine their artist who did our logo probably producing a dozen or so of these things per day. For the price they were charging, it sounded like someone was really banking it!
At the end of the deal with Logo Design Guru, we had a pretty good design. My nephew said he had a few problems communicating a number of touch-ups he wanted on the logo, so we brought in a local artist to clean it up for $50. Took him about 30 minutes and it was done. I guess that’s the real problem with these online services. Unless they have someone really good to talk to on the other end, some of the clients’ requests can occasionally get lost along the way.
Overall, though, I’d say Logo Design Guru did a decent job and I would surely work with them again (especially, if they give me a discount).
